In her recent vlog, filmmaker Farah Khan gave fans a candid and entertaining moment as she visited actress Radhikka Madan at her home and discovered a special framed letter from none other than Amitabh Bachchan. The legendary actor had sent the handwritten note to Radhikka, commending her performance in Angrezi Medium, which left Farah visibly impressed — and a little envious.

Reading the letter aloud, Farah quipped with her trademark wit, “Amitabh sir aapne mujhe kabhi aisa letter nahi bheja hai, kabhi nahi. Please bhejdo, koi toh letter bhejdo (You have never sent me a letter like this.. never. Please, send me one of you letters).” Her humorous take continued as she turned to her co-host and cook Dilip, who was also present, asking if he had ever received such a letter. Dilip responded with equal charm, saying, “No ma’am, I have never even received a letter from my wife.”

The letter from Bachchan, which Radhikka has proudly framed, reads, “This is Amitabh Bachchan, and I write to you with the greatest of admiration for your work in Angrezi Medium. I saw the film yesterday, and just could not resist writing to you. What a mature and balanced performance you have given. Prosperity and all success to you.”

Radhikka Madan, who played the role of Tarika in the film, has often spoken about how much the letter means to her. She had previously shared a photo of the note on her social media platforms.

Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium (2020) is the spiritual sequel to the critically acclaimed Hindi Medium (2017). The film starred the late Irrfan Khan, along with Radhikka Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, and Dimple Kapadia. It followed the journey of a single father who goes to great lengths to fulfill his daughter’s dream of studying abroad.

As of now, the actress is gearing up for Subedaar where she is expected to essay the role of Anil Kapoor’s daughter and the same is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
