Ranbir Kapoor recently expressed his admiration for Mohit Suri’s latest directorial venture Saiyaara, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The actor, who was spotted by the paparazzi in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, not only acknowledged the film’s growing popularity but also personally recommended it.

In a now-viral video shared by a paparazzi page, Ranbir is seen exiting a building when he greets the photographers and asks, “Saiyaara dekhi kya?” He then added with a smile, “Please dekho, bahut acchi film hai.”

This public endorsement by Kapoor has added to the buzz around Saiyaara, which is already receiving attention for its performances and music. Directed by Suri and backed by Yash Raj Films, the romantic drama marks the debut of Ahaan Panday, cousin of actor Ananya Panday, and newcomer Aneet Padda.

Earlier this week, Ranbir was seen at the special screening of Saiyaara, further indicating his support for the film and its makers. His camaraderie with Mohit Suri goes back to their shared professional history, and it seems he is keen on promoting quality cinema featuring new talent.

Ranbir Kapoor is set to appear in the highly anticipated film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Planned as a two-part saga, the first installment is scheduled for release on Diwali 2026, followed by the second part in 2027. Ranbir will portray Lord Ram, alongside Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The film also features Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha, and Arun Govil in significant roles. The music is being composed by AR Rahman in collaboration with the iconic Hans Zimmer, marking Zimmer’s debut in Bollywood.

Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara marks the Bollywood debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The film revolves around the lives of Vaani, a driven journalist, and Krish, a budding singer. Their unexpected meeting leads to a passionate romance, and the story unfolds as they navigate the emotional highs and lows of love, while battling the pressures of fame and personal challenges that threaten to separate them.
