Recent reports of strays having to be removed from public spaces have struck a chord with the actor. “On the sets of Anupamaa, the strays have become part of our family. We feed them, make sure they have water and give them a place to rest. I can’t imagine them without that safety,” he said.
For Shivam, the issue is not just about relocation but about dignity and compassion. “If changes have to be made, I hope they’re done with kindness, ensuring these animals have proper shelter, food, and care. They may not have a voice, but they have every right to live freely, just like us,” he added. The actor firmly believes that coexistence with strays is not a burden but a responsibility.
