Janhvi Kapoor’s promotional wardrobe for her upcoming film Param Sundari has been a talking point, and her latest appearance only reinforces her growing reputation as a style chameleon. Styled by Ami Patel, the actor stepped out in a custom Torani creation that merges heritage craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities.

The saree, designed by Karan Torani, is a masterclass in couture detailing. Its most striking feature is the delicate jaal—an intricate net-like drape adorned with miniature wax malligai blooms, painstakingly crafted by artist Amaahyaaj. The wax malligai (jasmine) is a cherished element of South Indian tradition, often worn in hair adornments during festivals and weddings. Here, it has been reimagined into a wearable tapestry, lending the ensemble both cultural depth and textural intrigue. The saree’s scalloped borders in candy pink contrast beautifully with the soft ivory net, while the embellishments—tiny floral motifs in white, pink, and crimson—add a romantic touch.

Beneath the diaphanous drape lies a vibrant fuchsia silk underskirt, creating a bold pop of colour and layering effect. The blouse is equally compelling: a corset-style silhouette with beaded spaghetti straps and intricate thread embroidery echoing the saree’s floral motifs. It’s a structured yet feminine cut that balances the softness of the netted drape.

For accessories, Janhvi kept the focus sharp yet minimal. She wore statement pearl drop earrings set in a ruby-toned base, mirroring the hues of her outfit without overpowering it. Her beauty look was soft and luminous. Makeup featured a fresh, dewy base, petal-pink blush, and a hint of highlighter along the cheekbones, perfectly in sync with the romantic aesthetic. The eyes were defined with long, fluttery lashes and a wash of pink-toned eyeshadow, while the lips were coated in a glossy mauve-pink hue. Hair was styled in loose, natural waves with a centre parting, allowing the open-back blouse and intricate drape to remain visible from every angle.

Speaking of the film, it is scheduled to release on August 29, 2025. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the rom-com is backed by Maddock Films and stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead.
