Sonyaa Ayoddhya says goodbye to Jaadu Teri Nazar a month after joining Star Plus show: “Key is to stay present and enjoy the process” : Bollywood News

Actress Sonyaa Ayoddhya recently finished working on the show Jaadu Teri Nazar, a supernatural drama where she got the chance to play Urvi, again a role she had earlier played in the popular show Nazar, named as Ruby. Sonyaa shared how special this experience was for her, how much she loved working with her team, and what she learned during the shoot.

Sonyaa quotes, “The fact that I got to relive Ruby, one of my absolute favorite characters. She’s not human, so playing a caricature gave me the freedom to go all out and just have fun with it. Humans are layered and complex, but with a character like Ruby, there’s this wild, playful energy that’s so liberating to perform.”

Sonyaa revealed further, “It felt like stepping back into the world of Nazar, but this time with an even better team on set. My director, Afzal, was incredibly helpful. He shaped Ruby in a way that felt both fun and nuanced. I genuinely look up to him — not just for his talent, but for how grounded and humble he is.”

Sonyaa reflects on her journey, saying, That nothing is ever certain or predictable, and that’s okay. The key is to stay present and enjoy the process. When you stop overthinking and just immerse yourself, that’s when the magic happens.”

Sonyaa adds more, “I’ve always been a bit of a baddie when it comes to stunts, thanks to how much time I spend working out! I love performing them, so I actually find those challenges exciting. Honestly, what’s life without a little thrill?”

Lastly, she adds, “It’s hard not to feel that way when you create something special together. But of course we will be back on set with a bigger better crazier show!”
