Ajay Devgn is back with a bang—and a barrage of laughs—in the 2025 comedy film Son of Sardaar 2. One of the most talked-about moments from the film features a hilarious spoof of the iconic war film Border, where Devgn’s character finds himself in an unexpected and comically high-stakes situation.

A standalone sequel to the 2012 action-comedy Son of Sardaar, the 2025 film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra. It marks the posthumous appearance of actor Mukul Dev. The plot follows a man who pretends to be a war hero to help a young couple gain their traditional parents’ approval for marriage.
Interestingly, the Border spoof arrives at a time when Border 2 is officially in the works. The upcoming sequel brings back Sunny Deol as the iconic army officer, alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahaan Shetty. Border 2 is set to hit theatres on January 23.
