Independent rap star Emiway Bantai has officially dropped the final track from his highly anticipated Bajis EP — and it’s turning heads for all the right reasons. Titled ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankien’, the song is a bold reimagination of the Shah Rukh Khan cult classic ‘Kaali Kaali Aankhen’, merging haunting hip-hop beats with Bollywood nostalgia.

Describing the release as a personal full-circle moment, Emiway explained how the EP allowed him to pay tribute to the very legends who sparked his love for music. “I’m thrilled that the final drop from the Bajis EP, ‘Kaali Kaali Aankhein’, is already doing so well across platforms,” he shared. “Bollywood has a huge influence on all of us and creating music with samples from some of these iconic songs has been an incredible experience. This EP gave me the opportunity to work with classics that featured Shah Rukh Khan — someone I deeply respect and look up to.”
The Bajis EP, now complete, features five dynamic tracks — ‘Badshah’, ‘Josh’, ‘Tribute to Sidhu Moosewala’, ‘Paisa Paisa’, and ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankien’. From gritty lyrical depth to genre-bending production, the EP marks Emiway’s evolution from street rap pioneer to mainstream disruptor.
A standout in the collection is the heartfelt ‘Tribute to Sidhu Moosewala’, which the rapper says was an emotionally charged process. “Creating ‘Tribute to Sidhu Moosewala’ was a process I’ll cherish forever. The love and support from the fans has been amazing, and I hope to keep making music for them — and for anyone who resonates with my sound. I’m grateful to everyone who supported the Bajis EP along the way, including the team at Believe Artist Services.”
To celebrate the project, a 90-foot mural of Emiway has been unveiled in Sion, Mumbai, making him the first Indian rapper to receive such a large-scale public homage. The artwork, developed in partnership with Believe Artist Services, reflects not just Emiway’s influence but the growing footprint of India’s independent hip-hop scene.
The Bajis EP is now available on all major streaming platforms, with music videos live on Emiway’s YouTube channel.
