During a recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside the Son of Sardaar 2 team—Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur—the actor shared a personal moment that offered a heartfelt glimpse into his life, leaving the audience both touched and pleasantly surprised.

During the episode, host Kapil Sharma highlighted a unique detail about Ravi Kishan—his nightly ritual of touching his wife’s feet. This prompted Ravi to candidly share not only about the practice itself but also the heartfelt reason behind it.

“I do it, but she never let me do that, but whenever she is sleeping…” Ravi Kishan began, drawing curious laughter from the audience. He then explained the deep sentiment behind the gesture and said, “She was by my side when I had neither money nor means. She held on through all ups and downs. Whatever success I have today, it’s because she never left my side. My son is sitting in front of me, he knows that the way she managed me, touching her feet is the least I can do.”

The emotional moment quickly gave way to laughter when Ajay Devgn, seated next to Ravi Kishan, seized the opportunity for some playful teasing. Without skipping a beat, he quipped, “The guiltier a man is, the more he will bend to touch his wife’s feet.” His witty remark had everyone, including Ravi and the rest of the cast, bursting into laughter.

This isn’t the first time Ravi Kishan has publicly expressed his deep bond with his wife, Priti Shukla. During last year’s Karwa Chauth, he took to Instagram to describe her as his “support system.” In the heartfelt post, he wrote, “Preeti is the support system for our family. She has always stayed beside me through thick and thin. I cannot thank her enough for making my life the way it is. Karva Chauth is a very special festival for both of us. On this day, I make sure I am with her at least during the puja ceremony. This helps strengthen our bond.”
